1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ScoreDay (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users including administrators, players, and spectators.

2. Description of Service

ScoreDay is a web-based golf scoring platform that provides live leaderboards, event management, league tracking, and clubhouse TV displays for golf courses, leagues, and events. The Service is provided as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Free Trial and Subscription

Your first event is free with no credit card required. After your free event, a paid subscription is required to create additional events. Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal.

Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice to active subscribers. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
  • Upload content that is offensive, defamatory, or infringes on intellectual property rights

6. Data and Content

You retain ownership of all content you create on ScoreDay (courses, events, scores, team data). By using the Service, you grant us a license to store, display, and process your content as needed to operate the platform.

Event leaderboards and league standings are publicly accessible via shareable URLs. You are responsible for ensuring you have consent to display player names publicly.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service downtime.

8. Limitation of Liability

ScoreDay is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request an export of your data within 90 days of termination.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable rules.
